Update 6/1/2012

I'm happy to report two new venues for some of my paintings.  True Brew Coffee House at 3370 SE Milwaukie Ave just a few blocks south of Powell has three of my larger paintings on their wall as of Wednesday.  Also, the US Bank on SE Bybee and Milwaukie is hanging my work this coming Monday.
Finally, I received word that my painting for the Pittock Mansion show has been juried in. 

Below is a painting that was just completed today.

Some Revisions and Updates May 27, 2012

I have been fairly busy making revisions to earlier plein air and studio paintings that I was either going to scrape or touch up. 

The 17 Mile Drive painting was from a photo taken while we were on vacation in Carmel, CA.

UPDATE as of May 13, 2012

The first three paintings were done in the studio.  At the suggestion of my friend Anton, the studio now has a name.  Our one-time garage, is now THE FLYING BIRD STUDIO (named for the bird sculpture above the entry...in memory of Char's mom, Betty).

UPDATE April 17, 2012

CURRENT EVENTS
Char and I have paintings at the US Bank through the month of April.  The bank is near the Lloyd Center in Portland located at NE 16 and Weidler. 

The Portland Art Museum Rental Gallery is having a showing this Friday, April 20 from 5:00 - 8:00. It's their Spring show for existing artists new work. The gallery is located at 1237 SW 10th Ave, Portland, OR.
